What is outpatient addiction treatment?

Outpatient treatment is a flexible form of care where patients attend scheduled therapy sessions at our Rolling Meadows facility while continuing to live at home. It is designed to provide professional clinical support without requiring a residential stay, making it ideal for those maintaining work or family commitments.

MAT is highly effective for individuals recovering from opioid or alcohol use disorders. It combines FDA-approved medications with behavioral therapy to significantly reduce cravings and physical withdrawal symptoms, lowering the risk of relapse.

Our dual diagnosis program treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, such as depression or PTSD, at the same time. By addressing the root causes of addiction alongside mental health, we provide a more stable foundation for long-term recovery.

Yes. To ensure that travel barriers do not prevent you from receiving care, RCA provides transportation services to and from our facility. This service is included in the cost of treatment for our Rolling Meadows patients.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is a higher intensity “day treatment” involving 25–30 hours of therapy per week. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is more flexible, typically requiring 9–15 hours per week with evening sessions available to accommodate your work or school schedule.
