You will have to do the work, no one is going to hold your hand here.. It’s up to you to attend groups and find your truth. The staff are there to support you I have enjoyed them greatly after I managed to give them a hard time.. They are the best thank you Adina, Shadaya, Tammy, Tim, Karen, TC, and all for making my road towards addiction a great one..

MCAT is the best possible option for someone serious about recovering from alcohol addiction. I stayed for twenty nine days in February to March of 2019. I had completed detox before going to MCAT so I cannot speak to that part of the program. I can say that my 29 days were completely filled with classes, lectures, meetings and interactions with staff and fellow alcoholics/addicts. The program includes daily AA and NA meetings with the option of attending off-campus meetings as well. The facility is bright, clean and cheerful, and the meals are a treat. But I suggest going because it is a serious program for serious people ready to work hard and get better. If you are truly ready to be sober, they will show you how. The staff (especially Ms. Karen, Adria, and Mr. Elliot) are educated, caring and dedicated. This facility changed my life and may well have saved it.

Extremely caring and understanding clinicians and supportive staff. MCAT/RCA clinicians were always available, engaging, and empathetic. The accommodations were better than I envisioned. The food was plentiful and multiple options were available. The chef regularly took suggestions for dishes, and followed through.RCA made me feel like we were together in my care as opposed to being cared for. That made a difference to me.Thank you RCA

Most supportive leadership team I have worked with. Our day begins and ends with how can we help each patient in their own way. The staff truly cares about our patients and one another. This company is open to alternative individualized care and goes above and beyond to ensure that this happens for each patient. This is truly a work family environment.

Maryland Center for Addiction Treatment is an excellent place to work. Whether you're continuing your career in substance use treatment or just starting out, this is the place to be. I have the distinct pleasure of being part of the 1st class of new hires who were brought on board before the facility officially opened its doors. The company is growing and as it grows it continually gives employees the opportunity to advance their careers as well. I was in my original position for 8 months but with faith and a little encouragement from my colleagues, I applied for another position and received it!! \o/ Maryland Center for Addiction Treatment has stood by its promise to provide a world class education in substance use treatment. I'm looking forward to continued growth within my current role and the company. I have never worked anywhere that afforded me the immediate and daily opportunity to see the difference that's being made in the lives of others. Lives are being transformed right before our eyes and that is ABSOLUTELY the most important and primary focus of the company.-Thankfully Making a Difference

I work at MCAT and I love this program! I was so impressed with the facility and the teamwork that I asked to be transferred to this site from out-of-state. I am so glad I did! Staff are supportive of the patients and of each other. Even though we're dealing with a serious disease, we find time to smile, laugh, and enjoy the patients and our Team. The programming is rigorous and clinically sound. It is a privilege seeing our patients heal and grow in their recovery. I would definitely refer a loved one to MCAT!
