Recovery Centers of America at Devon Launches Primary Mental Health Residential Program

New Restore Pathway expands access to standalone mental health care in Philadelphia Main Line region

DEVON, Pa. – Recovery Centers of America (RCA) at Devon announced today the launch of a new primary mental health residential program, with first patient admissions beginning April 13. The voluntary program is one of RCA’s personalized treatment pathways, Restore, providing focused treatment for adults with mental illness who do not require co-occurring substance-use treatment. The expansion strengthens RCA’s ability to meet growing demand for accessible, quality mental health services across the Philadelphia Main Line and surrounding communities.

RCA’s Restore Pathway delivers structured residential mental health treatment led by master’s-level clinicians and psychiatric providers. Programming is designed to help patients stabilize, build coping skills, and address conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma through evidence-based individual and group therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care. Treatment includes medication management when clinically appropriate.

Patients will be supported by RCA’s full continuum of care, including family education and coaching, discharge planning, and access to RCA’s national alumni network, designed to sustain mental wellness and progress long after residential treatment concludes.

“Expanding our services to include primary mental health care is a critical step in addressing the growing behavioral health needs we are seeing across Pennsylvania,” said Mark Puckett, Chief Operating Officer of Recovery Centers of America. “The Restore Pathway allows us to deliver the same evidence-based, patient-centered care RCA is known for, now tailored specifically for individuals seeking mental health treatment.”

“As someone deeply connected to this community, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for individuals and families to access timely mental health care,” said Valerie Schina, CEO of RCA at Devon. “Bringing the Restore Pathway to Devon allows us to close that gap and provide a dedicated, supportive environment where individuals can focus entirely on their mental health and long-term wellness.”

RCA at Devon will continue offering its existing addiction treatment services while expanding its continuum to include standalone mental health care. The addition of the Restore Pathway reinforced RCA’s commitment to providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment across the communities it serves.
