Recovery Centers of America opens their 10th inpatient facility in Monroeville as the public health crisis, combined with the prevalence and accessibility of illicit drugs, requires an aggressive and coordinated treatment approach.
Following what is expected to be the deadliest overdose year in recorded history, Recovery Centers of America (RCA), one of the nation’s top addiction treatment providers focused on comprehensive evidence-based care, announced today that it has opened their first western Pennsylvania location. The 78,000 square foot,138-bed treatment center located at 2380 McGinley Road in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, which recently underwent multi-million-dollar renovations, will provide world-class, affordable, in-network treatment for patients and their families. RCA at Monroeville represents the organization’s 10th inpatient facility spanning a half-dozen states, providing patients access to life-changing treatment developed by noted national experts on substance use disorder treatment (“SUD”). RCA at Monroeville will also bring nearly 150 jobs to the community.
“RCA’s mission to help 1 million patients achieve a life of recovery by providing evidence-based alcohol and drug addiction treatment is more important today than ever,” said Dr. Deni Carise, RCA co-founder and Chief Science Officer. “Right now, communities face a triple threat: an increase in methamphetamine use, lethal synthetic opioids and COVID -19. This is why we are focused on increasing patient access to our comprehensive treatment approach — rooted in the belief that patients who are treated with dignity, compassion and respect will get well sooner and stay well.”
