Recovery Centers of America Outpatient Services in Worcester is Now Open

The center, launching mental health services later this summer, is now accepting patients who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental illness

WORCESTER, Mass. – Recovery Centers of America (RCA), a national leader in addiction and mental health treatment, has expanded its services with a new outpatient center located at 70 Elm Street, 2nd Floor, in Worcester, Mass. The center is now open and accepting new patients who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental illness.

This opening of RCA Outpatient Services in Worcester addresses the growing need for accessible, high-quality substance use disorder and dual-diagnosis treatment in the Heart of the Commonwealth and surrounding communities. The facility will expand access to evidence-based treatment for adults 18 and older, offering an Extended Day Treatment Program, Day Treatment Program, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). The Day Treatment will be offered in hybrid and remote formats and includes evening programming as well.

Amanda Pitts, CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Westminster, serves as the CEO for RCA Outpatient Services in Worcester. With RCA already having two well-established locations in Danvers and Westminster, this move underscores RCA’s commitment to consistent leadership and high-quality care across its growing network.

“RCA has deep roots in Massachusetts through our Danvers and Westminster facilities, and Worcester is the next step in making sure that no matter where someone is in the state, quality treatment is within reach. Not only are we expanding our community, but this center gives patients the flexibility to stay in their lives while getting the support they need to change them,” said Pitts.

In honor of the opening, RCA hosted a grand opening celebration on Thursday, June 25, which included a ceremonial ribbon cutting, guided facility tours, and a community reception with networking and light refreshments.

The facility’s capacity includes three large group rooms, an exam room, a large lobby, comfortable seating areas, and offices for one-on-one counseling. The site will run groups from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in addition to having its call center open 24/7. Later this summer, RCA Outpatient Services in Worcester will also launch a primary mental health services program that will offer treatment for those experiencing mental health disorders, without an active substance use disorder.

Through RCA’s growing presence in Massachusetts, the company remains committed to providing the support and resources individuals need to begin and sustain their recovery journey. RCA encourages anyone struggling with addiction – or their loved ones – to reach out and take the first step toward recovery.
