Recovery Centers of America at Mount Dora Launches New Outpatient Services

Two new programs expand access to care in Central Florida

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) at Mount Dora announced today two new outpatient treatment programs. The Day/Night Treatment and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) will expand the center’s continuum of care beyond the detoxification and residential services it has offered since opening earlier this year.

The Day/Night Treatment, RCA’s highest level of outpatient care, will run Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, and it is best suited for patients who need highly structured, routine care but do not require overnight stays.

The IOP will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and will offer in-person, hybrid, or fully virtual options. IOP is launching with day sessions only, with plans to add evening scheduling in the future to accommodate patients who work or attend school during the day.

“Both of these programs give patients in Central Florida a structured path to step down from higher levels of care while not disrupting their personal and professional lives,” said Patty Beckett, CEO of RCA at Mount Dora. “They now have access to consistent and personalized treatment while still able to go to work, attend school, or manage family responsibilities.”

Outpatient programming is designed for patients who have completed detoxification or residential treatment, as well as those whose clinical needs do not require an inpatient stay. Individual and group therapy utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, dual diagnosis treatment, and more. Services also include family support and a robust alumni program that helps patients maintain lasting recovery and connection beyond treatment.

RCA at Mount Dora opened earlier this year, becoming the organization’s first Florida treatment center. The center offers medically supervised detoxification and 24/7 residential treatment, in addition to a confidential Healthcare Professional Program – a specialized addiction treatment program designed exclusively for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other licensed clinicians. The addition of two outpatient programs completes the campus’s full continuum of care.
