RCA Radio Hour honors Mental Health Month
On the first Tuesday of every month, Tara Rivera, treatment advocate for Recovery Centers of America, representing our Massachusetts facilities RCA at Danvers and RCA at Westminster, co-hosts the Recovery Centers of America Radio Hour on Boston’s WKPZ the K-Zone 105.3FM and 1280AM.
The topic of this month’s episode is mental health, particularly its intersection with addiction. Tara is joined by three special guests from RCA at Westminster: CEO Kat Stevens; Clinical Director Meghan Wood and primary therapist Melissa Burn. Among the many topics discussed is the co-occurrence of substance use disorders and mental health disorders, and how Recovery Centers of America’s specialized treatment program, Balance, effectively treats the two together.
