New Outpatient Center in Worcester Will Bring Care Closer to Home for Those Struggling with Addiction and Mental Illness
Recovery Centers of America (RCA), a national leader in addiction and mental health treatment, is expanding its outpatient services in Massachusetts. The company, driven by a mission to save one million lives, announced it will open a new facility at 70 Elm Street in Worcester, and will welcome new patients in Summer 2026.
RCA Outpatient Services comes in response to the growing need for accessible, high-quality addiction and mental health care in Worcester County and surrounding areas. By opening a local outpatient treatment facility, RCA aims to remove barriers, ensuring that adults seeking help for substance use disorder and dual diagnosis can receive evidence-based care close to home. The center reflects RCA’s commitment to provide flexible treatment options that fit the demands of everyday life while supporting lasting recovery.
The new outpatient treatment facility will provide evidence-based treatment options for adults 18 and older, including an Extended Day Program and Day Program, for substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health disorders. Additionally, the facility will also offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Amanda Pitts, CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Westminster, will also serve as the CEO for the new outpatient facility in Worcester. With RCA having two well-established locations in Danvers and Westminster, this move underscores RCA’s commitment to consistent leadership and high-quality care across its growing network.
“Outpatient services play a vital role in long-term recovery and wellness, giving patients the support they need while staying engaged in their daily lives and local communities,” said Pitts.
Through RCA’s growing presence in Massachusetts, the company remains committed to providing the support and resources individuals need to begin and sustain their recovery journey. RCA encourages anyone struggling with addiction – or their loved ones – to reach out and take the first step toward recovery.
