Recovery Centers of America at Monroeville Expands Access to Voluntary Mental Health Residential Treatment Near Pittsburgh

A new residential program designed to support adults seeking stabilization, structure, and compassionate mental health care.

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) at Monroeville announced today the launch of a new residential treatment program for adults with primary mental health conditions in Monroeville and the greater Pittsburgh area. The voluntary program is one of RCA’s personalized treatment pathways, Restore, providing focused treatment for adults with mental illness who do not require co-occurring substance-use treatment. The expansion strengthens RCA’s ability to meet rising demand for accessible, evidence-based mental health care in Western Pennsylvania.

RCA’s Restore Pathway delivers structured residential mental health treatment led by master’s-level clinicians and psychiatric providers. Programming is designed to help patients stabilize, build coping skills, and address conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma through evidence-based individual and group therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Treatment includes medication management when clinically appropriate.

Patients will be enveloped in RCA’s full continuum of care, including family education and coaching, discharge planning, and RCA’s national alumni network, designed to sustain mental wellness and progress long after residential treatment concludes.

“This new service line is not only a response to increasing demand for quality mental health care, but also an opportunity to further fulfill our mission of saving lives and supporting healing at every level,” said Mark Puckett, Chief Operating Officer of Recovery Centers of America.

“Launching residential mental health treatment in the greater Pittsburgh area allows us to support more individuals who need access to dedicated mental health care,” added RCA at Monroeville CEO David Blenk. “Our goal is to provide a safe, clinical environment where people can stabilize and begin their wellness journey.”

RCA at Monroeville will continue offering its existing substance use disorder services while expanding its continuum to include standalone mental health care. The addition of the Restore Pathway reinforced RCA’s commitment to providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment across the communities it serves.
