Strength in Recovery

Nick Goldberg

Authored by Nick Goldberg

The RCA Alumni Association is thrilled to announce the launch of our podcast, Strength in Recovery: Real People – Real Experiences – Real Hope. Hosted by RCA’s Director of Alumni Engagement Jaye Rodenbush, Strength in Recovery will explore the journey of recovery through the eyes and perspectives of some of RCA’s very own alumni, staff members, recovery advocates, family members and friends. Our goal with this podcast is to inspire listeners to find their strength in recovery, talk through real experiences with those on their own journey and educate our listeners on the realities of this disease.

The first episode of Strength in Recovery kicks off with an interview entitled Facing Fear with Senior Alumni Coordinator Bob Whedbee. Tune in to listen to Bob talk about going from patient to RCA staff member, the fear of being vulnerable throughout the recovery process and the beauty of using his own experiences to help current patients and alumni.

Strength In Recovery episodes will be released monthly. We’re so excited for you to take a listen!

You can listen to each Strength in Recovery episode here, on Apple or Spotify.
