RCA Radio Hour Explores Pain, Connection and Hope

On the first Tuesday of every month, Tara Rivera, treatment advisor for Recovery Centers of America, representing our Massachusetts facilities RCA at Danvers and RCA at Westminster, co-hosts the Recovery Centers of America Radio Hour on Boston’s WKPZ the K-Zone 105.3FM and 1280AM.

August’s episode featured two special guests.

Anna Du Puis, treatment advisor at RCA’s Massachusetts sites, describes how pain can connect us, despite our differences, and spur us toward change: “It’s that strong underlying current that connects all of us.”

Michelle Dunn also contributed to the conversation. Dunn is Director of Community Engagement at GAAMHA, a residential treatment program in Massachusetts, and President of the A.E.D. Foundation, formed in memory of her daughter Alyssa Dunn, who lost her life to drug addiction at the age of 20.
