Recovery Centers of America donates $56,000 to Berwyn Fire Company and Easttown Police Department

DEVON—Today, Recovery Centers of America, in keeping with its annual support for local first responder organizations, donated $40,000 to the Berwyn Fire Company and $16,000 to the Easttown Police Department. Recovery Centers of America CEO Steve Wicke said “The team at RCA at Devon is pleased to support the Berwyn Fire Company and Easttown Police Department again in 2020. The men and women of the Berwyn Fire Company and the Easttown police are vitally important to our work treating those battling the disease of addiction. Chief Obzud and his officers and Chief Brazunas have been essential in helping us save lives.” Chief Obzud will use the donation to upgrade the department’s automated external defibrillators.

Recovery Centers of America at Devon has treated thousands of patients at its Main Line facility using a full continuum of care including detox, inpatient, and outpatient treatment, medication – assisted -treatment (MAT) and offering a large alumni support network to help patients maintain their recovery . The King-of Prussia based company’s mission is to save one million lives one neighborhood at a time. The company employs nearly six hundred people at its Devon location and King of Prussia corporate headquarters and its Opioid Treatment Program in Lansdowne. RCA employs 1500 employees nationwide.
