DBT (Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy) Webinar
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or DBT, is an evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy effective in the treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. RCA has adopted DBT into its Care Model to teach patients specific skills that help manage cravings, deal with symptoms of post-acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS), reduce anxiety, and more.
In this webinar, we will talk about the core principles of DBT, why it is helpful for those struggling from substance use disorder, and ways DBT strategies can be implemented at home.
We will seek to answer commonly asked questions surrounding DBT including:
- What is DBT?
- Why is this an important part of my loved one’s recovery?
- How can we apply DBT skills as a family?
All are welcome, regardless of your affiliation to Recovery Centers of America.
This webinar is not eligible for continuing education credits (CEU), and will not be recorded.
