Growing up, drinking was always a part of Luke’s life. From birthday parties, to holidays, to celebrations of any occasion, alcohol was a constant presence. Luke believed that excessive drinking was normal and something to be proud of. As the years passed and Luke began a family of his own, his drinking spiraled out of control to the point where he was drinking constantly. Luke realized he needed help and with the support of his family, he accepted the help he so desperately needed. Luke competed treatment in the Fall of 2019 and has been sober ever since.
This is Luke’s story.
Asking for help is not a failure, It’s the opposite. It’s a sign of courage, it’s a sign of strength and it’s a sign of willingness.”
– Luke
