Christiana Ellis-Morris PhD

Director of Outpatient Services

Christiana Ellis-Morris, PhD, LSW has nearly two decades of experience working with at-risk populations to include various levels in the Addictions and Mental Health fields from direct care to program director. She has worked in various models within outreach, outpatient, and residential treatment. Prior to RCA, Christiana successfully directed, licensed, and accredited both Clinical Stabilization and Outpatient Clinic Services.

She is a Massachusetts Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychology from Capella University. She is a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. Christiana is passionate about helping those in need in identifying opportunities of personal growth.

Laura O’Brien

Primary Therapist

Laura O’Brien, LCSW, EMDR began her career in addiction treatment in 2013 with the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center as a Substance Abuse Counselor. From there, she moved into the role of an Early Intervention Service Coordinator with South Bay Mental Health and then on to Senior Clinician with NFI MA, where she continued to serve clients with a variety of mental health diagnoses including Substance Use Disorder.

Laura brings her 7 years of experience to RCA at Westminster, as she counsels patients through Outpatient treatment. As a therapist, Laura hopes to help patients better understand the disease of addiction, individual triggers, urges and cravings, and forgiveness as they cultivate renewed health and hope for their futures.

Michael Britcher

Corp. Director of Outpatient

Mike, MS, ODL has worked in the mental health/behavioral health and substance abuse fields for 28 years. He has held various positions including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director of Residential Services and Chairman of the Behavior Management Committee. Most recently Mike served as the CEO/Vice President of Onward Behavioral Health. He was responsible for all aspects of a 25 office Outpatient Treatment company.

Mike earned his Master’s Degree for Organizational Development and Leadership from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has co-facilitated graduate level classes at PCOM and been a guest lecturer for The Administration of Human Service Programs at the University of Scranton, Department of Counseling and Human Services.

He holds a personal patent for the Safety Shield® and copyright for Positive Outcome Intervention Strategies for Effective De-escalation (POISED), an early detection and proactive intervention training program for crisis intervention and de-escalation situations.
