Domenica Personti

Domenica Personti, MS, LCDP, CADC holds the unique perspective of a person who has recovered from significant behavioral health challenges, a domestic violence survivor, and a provider of substance abuse and mental health services. She is a Trauma Informed Care Trainer and Master Implementation Specialist, and Overdose Prevention Trainer, Mental Health First Aid USA instructor, and trainer of Recovery Based Peer Support Programs.

Mrs. Personti has over 18 years of experience in behavioral health and specializes in program development, implementation, quality assurance and consultation. Mrs. Personti obtained her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College, after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a Criminal Justice focus. Mrs. Personti is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional-Diplomat, and a Certified Prevention Specialist. Mrs. Personti has worked in the field of Behavioral Health since 1998, within many different modalities of treatment.

Mrs. Personti has specialized training in trauma informed care, medication assisted recovery, forensic mental health counseling, crisis management, criminal justice and justice involved populations, adolescent treatment, disease education, harm reduction, substance abuse and violence prevention. Mrs. Personti was trained as an Overdose Prevention Trainer and Naloxone Educator through the DOPE Project in San Francisco, California, which is a model Overdose Prevention Program that is part of the National Harm Reduction Coalition. Her ability to connect with the population she serves is what makes her successful.
