Outpatient Services Director

In 2015, Megan received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Addiction and Trauma. She been employed in a variety of therapeutic, counseling roles, executive, supervisory and management roles; ranging in various levels of care. Megan has extensive history working with in the legal and forensic population. Megan has worked in the Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Programing for the last 15 years and in management for the last 8 years.

Megan’s biggest passion is serving as a sounding board for those in need of unconditional support, validation, and acceptance. Her philosophy is that every person is of unique value and capable of great change. She believes strongly in the process of change, helping others navigate that path, and encouraging others to find hope. Megan has a strong passion for quality services, workplace satisfaction, hiring and onboarding, building teams and work place culture.

Megan is specialized in three areas: addictions, trauma, and relational/ marital conflict. Megan enjoys doing individuals, couples and family work and being a guide through the process of mending and repair. Experienced in marriages/separation/divorce/reunification/coparenting/children adjusting to change/ relationships.

Megan has enjoyed working with a diverse cliental and populations including the LGBTQ community, individuals questioning their own identity, gender or sexuality, clients struggling with disordered eating behaviors, trauma survivors, and women and children.

Megan equally has experience helping individuals with domestic abuse concerns, grief & loss, gambling, mood disorders, criminal behaviors and mental illness, and forensic populations. It is through extensive training in DBT, CBT, Person Centered approaches, and Motivational Interviewing that she feels these populations are best serviced and cared for.

Medical Director

Dr. McWilliams is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. She trained in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. McWilliams is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, and has been practicing since 2007. She has served as an attending physician for the Department of Public Health at a community health center in Philadelphia and the Medical Director at Inglis House, a nursing home in Philadelphia, PA. Her interest includes addiction medicine and treating patients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. She acted as the lead Physician at Malvern institute, a drug and alcohol rehab facility in Malvern, PA. She has served as the Medical Director at Recovery Center of America in Devon, PA a comprehensive drug and alcohol addiction treatment facility, since August 2017.
