Light the Night Purple with RCA Danvers

Home Events Light the Night Purple with RCA Danvers

RCA Danvers Alumni:

On Wednesday 5/15/2024 starting at 6:00pm, The Alumni Association invites alumni, family, and friends to join us for the Light the Night Purple walk. This is a community-friendly event to raise awareness of substance use prevention and treatment; to promote health, healing, and recovery; and to erase the stigma associated with this disease. There will be a one mile walk, games, speakers, community activities, educational resources, and of course an opportunity for fellowship!

Arrival time is at 6 PM; there will be t-shirts for the first 100 people to arrive. At 7:00pm, participants will light votives and walk through the town of Danvers.

We will meet at the Rotary Pavilion on the grounds of the Peabody Institute Library. Parking is available at the town lot adjacent to the Town Hall. This will be a great opportunity to have some fun in recovery and also share in supporting awareness of the disease of addiction.

Guests are welcome - this is a free event, we would love to see family and friends accompany you!

Questions? Reach out to RCA Danvers Alumni Coordinator, Marty Dunphy, at 978-233-1246 or [email protected].
