How We Treat Addiction in South Bend

Our goal here at RCA is to offer treatment plans that work for the unique needs of each of our patients. From the start, you’re partnered with a case manager who helps you plan and address the concerns you have so you can be involved in your recovery planning, too. They work together with you and your therapist to ensure your needs are met.

No treatment plan will ever work for every single person, because patients are just as unique as their reasons for being in treatment. This is why we offer a program that has three different pathways, as well as other services such as wellness, family therapy, and more.

Our Pathways Program is split up into different programs based on the specific needs of our patients. One program is for those who are first-time recovery patients, another is for those returning to recovery, and our final is for those who need to address both substance use concerns as well as mental illness. 

In order to ensure our patients truly get the top-quality care they deserve, we work hard to keep it at its best. We utilize client feedback and structured clinical feedback to inform our programming and treatment methods. We want to help make sure our patients have the best foundation possible for their long-term journey of recovery.

What We Treat

We treat all matters of substance use. No matter the substance or substances that you were primarily using, our team is trained and equipped to help. This includes detox, inpatient, and outpatient offerings to ensure you have the support you need every step of the way.  We’re also equipped to tackle co-occurring disorders, which are when people are managing both mental illness and substance use at the same time. 

Based on your clinical assessment you can enroll in any level of care we offer, including detox, inpatient, and outpatient services. When you complete treatment you will be part of a strong alumni network and program to help keep you connected to care even after you leave our doors. Our alumni program aims to help patients see what long-term recovery looks like, offering support and words of encouragement from fellow peers.

We also offer medication for addiction treatment (MAT), which works especially for those who are working towards recovery from opioids. MAT works by utilizing FDA-approved medications that have been shown to greatly assist in reducing cravings and helping people focus on their recovery, instead. MAT is used to bolster success and help minimize the chances of returning to use or overdosing in the future.
