Recovery is Possible – Adam C
Adam is an incredibly kind and soft-spoken young man. He started drinking and smoking marijuana with his friends at the age of 13. When he was 19 Adam was involved in a serious car accident, which left him in a state of chronic pain. To fight the pain, Adam was prescribed heavy narcotics. After his prescription painkillers ran out, his addiction escalated quickly into a heroin addiction. After many years, trials, failures with other treatment programs, Adam came to Recovery Centers of America. Watch Adam’s journey from struggling heroin addict to a proud fiancée and father of three.
“I was a chronic marijuana user, a chronic alcohol abuser. At the time I didn’t see it like that. I was just a young kid doing what I thought every young kid did at the time.”
