Nicole Bixler

Program Director

Nicole Bixler, LSW, LCADC, has over eight years of experience in the substance use treatment field working with adolescents and adults. Nicole is a graduate of Stockton University’s Masters in Social Work Program and is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Nicole has experience working with adolescents who are involved with gang activity as well as adults in a residential and detoxification setting.

Nicole has experience working in a pharmacotherapy setting as a therapist and Clinical Supervisor in a methadone program. Nicole has enhanced programs in a medication assisted recovery program including groups focused on patients who continue to struggle with polysubstance use as well as enhancing an educational program for pregnant patients on methadone maintenance . She has a deep understanding of the impact of stigma and discrimination towards people who use drugs, and Nicole strives to educate patients on their rights in the community as well as their rights when seeking treatment.

Nicole has extensive knowledge of the harm reduction approach as well as overdose prevention and reversal training. Nicole works directly with individuals experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood, providing outreach including overdose prevention education and reversals, distribution of Naloxone and harm reduction supplies and advocating for treatment options through her personal non-profit organization.

Dr. Elizabeth Drew

Medical Director

Dr. Elizabeth Drew, MD, graduated from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed her family practice residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown Pa. In 2005 she opened her family medicine office in Doylestown Pa. and in 2008 she treated her first patient for opiate addiction.

Since then Dr Drew has attained her board certification in Addiction Medicine, treated more than a thousand patients for addiction to opiates and alcohol, participated in programs to educate the community, traveled to Washington DC to educate our legislators and served as Medical Director at some premier addiction treatment programs in Pennsylvania.

She understands that addiction is a chronic disease that no one would choose to have, and her treatment philosophy is based on respect, compassion and empowerment. She is excited to be the Medical Director of Delaware County Healthcare Clinic and work to provide superior addiction treatment in Delaware County Pennsylvania.

Brooke Deschenes

Clinical Supervisor

Brooke graduated with a Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor. Brooke started her career as a Career Counselor within Higher Education, assisting college students with better understanding and crafting their skills and career path.

After three years of career counseling, Brooke began her journey in mental health and addictions work by having the privilege to work in a variety of settings, including medication assisted treatment facilities, abstinence-based facilities, dual diagnosis programs, and outpatient mental health programs. Brooke has experience treating a wide variety of mental health disorders, including depression/anxiety, PTSD, trauma, mood and schizophrenic disorders, and polysubstance substance abuse.

Brooke uses a holistic, integrative approach to client-centered therapy, using traditional psychodynamic and family system work, cognitive and dialectical behavioral techniques, and mind-body work to name a few. Brooke enjoys working within the community and treatment facilities to reduce the stigma associated with substance abuse and promote a harm reduction model of treating individuals. Brooke has a passion for working with people to empower them to achieve their goals.

Mark Stetsko


Mark Stetsko, MA, has over five years experience in counseling with the majority of his experience coming from substance use treatment and more specifically from working with adults who have co-occuring mental health and substance use disorders. Mark received his master’s degree in counseling from Immaculata University and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Mark has worked in a variety of treatment settings from inpatient rehabilitation, a partial hospitalization program, community based mental health, and a medication assisted treatment based IOP. Mark takes an eclectic approach to therapy utilizing elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and solution focused therapy.
