Michael Britcher

Corp. Director of Outpatient

Mike Britcher, MS ODL has worked in the mental health/behavioral health and substance abuse fields for 28 years. He has held various positions including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director of Residential Services and Chairman of the Behavior Management Committee. Most recently Mike served as the CEO/Vice President of Onward Behavioral Health. He was responsible for all aspects of a 25 office Outpatient Treatment company.

Mike earned his Master’s Degree for Organizational Development and Leadership from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has co-facilitated graduate level classes at PCOM and been a guest lecturer for The Administration of Human Service Programs at the University of Scranton, Department of Counseling and Human Services.

He holds a personal patent for the Safety Shield® and copyright for Positive Outcome Intervention Strategies for Effective De-escalation (SHIELD), an early detection and proactive intervention training program for crisis intervention and de-escalation situations.

Karen LaBrecque

Primary Therapist

Karen LaBrecque, M. Ed., CADC, LADC1 has worked in Addiction Treatment for the last four years, to include Detox, Residential, and Outpatient Services, Additionally, she is a CCAR Recovery Coach Academy TOT. Karen is very active within the local community in supporting prevention efforts.  

Karen is passionate about helping people who struggle with addiction and believes recovery is possible for everyone.  She shares a humanistic approach while meeting people where they are at and strives to help clients with ambivalence. She is dedicated to helping others in a compassionate, caring, and safe environment at RCA. 

Jennifer Hogue

Director of Outpatient Services

Jennifer Hogue, M.Ed, LMHC, has been in the mental health and substance use fields since 2011.  She holds a Certificate of Advanced Clinical Studies from Boston College as well as a certification in Motivational Interviewing Immersion from the Health Education and Training Institute. 

Beginning her career in the nonprofit sector, she managed an all-male residential program for adults with chronic mental illness, as well as, worked with at-risk populations in the community including those suffering from extreme addiction, severe mental illness, homelessness, and medical issues.  She has experience providing individual therapy, leading Intensive Outpatient groups (IOP/SOAP), therapy (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, etc…), and medication assisted treatment (MAT) programs. 

Jennifer has held several leadership positions throughout her career and has always been passionate about providing support and guidance to direct care clinicians, as well as, developing new processes and procedures to grow and sustain successful programs to support her community.
