Mindful Meditation

Meditation is a set of breathing exercises and relaxation techniques that are meant to foster an increased state of awareness and focused attention. The art of meditation has been around for thousands of years and has been practiced in countries and regions all over the world. While meditation can often be used for religious purposes such as worship, many practice meditation independently – using it to tap into a state of consciousness to help address mental health concerns such as stress, anxiety, and depression. Meditation is also said to help improve mindfulness, immunity, and increased self-awareness.

Join Recovery Centers of America and 12 Step Recovery Leader, Satya Dass for a Mindful Meditation Session which will include a live, guided meditation to provide a sense of healing and happiness for the New Year. Whether it is your first time, or you are a seasoned pro, this Mindful Meditation session is sure to help you unwind and start your Sunday off with a little bit of serenity.
