Finding spirituality and balance in recovery 
On Saturday, February 5, 2022, John Demasi, host of South Jersey radio show Talk With A Purpose, hosted Corey Richey, the new CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Lighthouse.
Having worked at Lighthouse earlier in her career as Director of Admissions, Ms. Richey returns there now after having served as Interim CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Bracebridge during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over a broad, clarifying conversation covering the spectrum of substance use disorder and its treatment, Richey underscored the role of spirituality in overcoming addiction and the way that RCA at Lighthouse’s faith-based treatment program Freedom forwards this end. Another highlight was the quite common co-occurrence of addiction and other mental health disorders and how RCA’s inpatient program Balance treats the two together.
