Our schedule offers you the ability to focus on your recovery while also supporting your outside obligations. We know that each and every day of your recovery is earned, and we will help you make the most of how you spend yours.
Many people suffering from a substance use disorder also suffer from a co-occurring mental health disorder. In fact, according to the 2020 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), 17 million adults aged 18 or older suffer from both substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health disorder1.

RCA’s outpatient program is an integral component of our full comprehensive continuum of care. It includes:
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) – This program is offered during the day, Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day. This level of care provides intense structure and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Many patients attend PHP upon completion of inpatient hospitalization.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – This program is offered during the day and evening, 3 hours/ per day, 3-5 times per week. This schedule allows patients to work on their recovery, and maintain other important work, family, and other commitments. Many patients attend IOP upon completion of PHP.

Treatment wherever you are
A key to your long-term recovery, whether you are starting your journey or continuing it, lies within outpatient. You care may be available in-person, online via HIPAA compliant web and video conferencing, or a combination of both. This means we can be available to you anywhere in Indiana via telehealth.
If distance to our sites, health concerns, transportation challenges or other personal responsibilities are holding you back, RCA’s telehealth treatment can be the solution. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, computer, or laptop to get started.

Medication can be an important tool in managing withdrawal symptoms and maintaining sobriety. This may include medications to address mental health disorders as well as medications used to treat addiction, known as Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT). Many RCA Outpatient locations also offer Medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). We offer multiple routes of MOUD to specifically treat opioid use disorder, based on individual’s needs and preferences.
